Laura Klos-Gunther started dancing at age 3 in Queens, NY. At 17, she began her professional dance training at Steps On Broadway and Broadway Dance Center where she had the opportunity to study with master teachers such as Germaine Salsberg, Charles Goddertz, Jimmy Kichler, Richard Pierlon, Finis Jhung, and many others. She is professionally trained in tap, jazz, and ballet, and has also studied hip hop, Afro-Caribbean and Latin dance styles. In addition to her extensive dance training, Laura also holds a BA in Dance Pedagogy from SUNY Empire State College and is a graduate of the Dance Education Laboratory at the 92nd Street Y.
As a dancer, Laura has performed in numerous NYC venues, as well as for private and social events in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. She has danced for several musical acts and singing artists in venues such as Carolines Comedy Club, The Plaza Hotel, Club Taj, Amazura Concert Hall, Club Groove, The Baggot Inn and many others. Laura has also performed as a tap dance soloist in variety shows throughout NYC and was a special tap dancing guest at Lycee Francais. In 2019, she appeared as a dancer in the film “Sandman,” at DeSales University.
